Our programs serve children, and we collect information about children as part of the registration process. This information — including medical details, emergency contacts, and authorized pickup persons — is used solely to keep children safe and communicate with their families. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. All registration information is collected from parents or legal guardians.
Photos and videos may be taken during AIK sessions for use in program documentation, our website, and social media. We will never identify a child by name in publicly shared content. If a photo clearly showing your child's face is to be used publicly, we will contact you before posting.
Photography consent is collected at registration. If you do not consent to photography, please indicate this on your registration form. If you see a photo you would like removed, email us at info@adventuringintoknowledge.ca and we will remove it promptly.
We keep registration and medical information for as long as your child is enrolled in AIK programs, and for a reasonable period afterward in case of any follow-up questions or incidents. Financial transaction records are kept as required by Canadian tax law. Email list data is kept until you unsubscribe.
You can request deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing us. We will delete what we are not legally required to retain.
